Ritz Stevens Full Desk℠

The desk that never got assigned to you.

Monthly consulting for established advisory firms. Sales call coaching, a written sales process, target marketing assist, vendor and pricing findings, the custodian question answered, and an annual valuation review.

For firms that are already built and have stopped growing. $2,500 a month, flat. Three months to start, then month to month. No revenue share, no equity stake, no percentage of anything.

Most of the firms we talk to at this size have been running eight or ten years and have close to the same clients they had four years ago. Nothing is broken. The phone just doesn’t ring the way it used to, and there’s nobody to hand that to.

What This Costs

What this work costs, and what we charge.

A general business consultant runs $3,000 to $25,000 a month on retainer. Outsourced marketing for an advisory firm starts around $4,000 a month before you spend a dollar on ads. We don’t do that second one, and we’ll tell you why below.

$3,000 to $25,000

A general business consultant on retainer, per month.

$100,000+

Outsourced marketing for an advisory firm, per year.

$2,500

Ritz Stevens Full Desk, per month. Flat, with no revenue share and no equity stake.

Full Desk is $2,500 a month, which works out to $30,000 a year. On a thirty million dollar firm billing one percent, that’s three million in new assets to cover it. For most firms that size it’s two or three households. That’s the arithmetic on the fee, and it isn’t a projection.

The reason we can charge that is the same reason Launch works. We’re already doing the custodian research, the vendor comparisons and the pricing work across every firm we sit with, so the second firm costs a fraction of what the first one did. A consultant billing you by the hour has no way to spread that.

Consulting and outsourced-marketing rates are 2026 United States market ranges from published industry pricing surveys. Not a representation of results.

The Part Nobody Teaches

Most advisors were never taught to sell.

4 a month

the new prospect conversations we work through with you in a typical month

You came up somewhere that handed you the leads, or you took over a book, and the part where you go out and win a household on purpose was never something anyone sat down and worked through with you. That’s not a character flaw. Nobody taught it.

The big firms send their people on a sales course for a week and expect it to carry them a year. It doesn’t. Ritz Stevens is run by former Schwab, Merrill, Vanguard and Fidelity people, and those firms train salespeople for a living. This is the same work, spread across every month, against the people actually sitting in your pipeline.

After you’ve sat down with someone new, we go through it. What you asked, where they went quiet, what you’d do differently, and what happens next with them. You’ll have your CRM notes and you’ll remember the meeting, so there’s nothing to record and nothing leaves your office.

What’s Included

One flat fee. The whole engagement.

Every firm gets the same six things, every month.

Sales call coaching

We go through calls you’ve actually had. What worked, where it went sideways, and what to say the next time you get that objection. Real calls, once you’re comfortable with it.

A written sales process

The stages, what happens at each one, what you send, when you follow up, and who gets called back and when. Built for your firm, and yours to keep whether or not we’re still on the call.

Target marketing assist

Who the firm should be going after and why, the list to reach them, and the campaign to run at them. We build it with you and you run it.

The findings, gone through properly

Vendor by vendor with real quotes and the script for the call. The other firms in your market and what they’re saying. What your pricing looks like next to theirs.

The custodian question, answered

Where the firm should custody, what a move actually costs, and whether it’s worth doing. Vendor-neutral, because we don’t take a dollar from any of them.

A standing monthly call and an annual review

The same two people every month, plus a written scorecard of where the pipeline stands. Once a year, a valuation and readiness review, so you know what the firm is worth before you need to know.

How It Runs

Your first 90 days.

Full Desk starts with work. Here is what the first quarter actually looks like.

01

Week one: the map

We go through the book, the pipeline, the spend and where you want the firm to be in three years. Nothing is prescribed before we understand it.

02

Weeks two to four: the findings

Vendors, pricing, custodian fit and the competitive picture in your market, line by line and in writing. This is the part that usually pays for itself first.

03

Weeks four to eight: the process

We build the sales process with you and start working through the meetings you’re actually having. By the end of this stretch you have it in writing.

04

Day ninety: the review

What worked, what didn’t, what we’re changing. Then the plan for the next quarter, in writing. That repeats every quarter for as long as you’re with us.

Who It’s For

Built for firms that have gone quiet

Firms That Have Plateaued

Eight or ten years in, profitable, and running roughly the client base you had four years ago. Nothing is broken and nothing is growing.

Owners Without a Sales Process

New business arrives by referral and luck. There’s no written process, so a good month and a bad month look the same from the inside.

Firms Your Custodian Forgot

Below a hundred million you get a service queue instead of a relationship manager, and the ones who get a person get somebody whose job is custody.

How We’re Different

You keep the firm. We make you better at winning business.

01

You keep ownership

We don’t buy your firm or take a percentage of your revenue. You keep your book, your brand and your independence.

02

We don’t run your marketing

A firm that does that for you starts around a hundred thousand a year and we’re not going to pretend to do it for thirty. We make you better at the part that wins the business, and we build the process so it happens the same way every time.

03

A fraction of the cost

One flat monthly fee. No revenue share, no percentage of your life’s work, and no percentage of any transaction. See exactly what it costs on our pricing page.

04

We stay for the long haul

Our involvement doesn’t end at onboarding. Three months to start, then month to month, for as long as it’s earning its keep.

Good to Know

Full Desk questions

Is this coaching?

Partly, and we’d rather say so plainly. The sales call work is coaching in the real sense, which is a person who has done it sitting with you after a meeting and working through what happened. The rest is not. You get vendor findings, competitor pricing, a custodian recommendation, a written sales process and an annual valuation review, all in writing and all yours to keep.

Do you run our marketing for us?

No, and we want to be clear about it before you sign anything. A firm that builds your lists, sends your campaigns and chases your follow-up starts around a hundred thousand dollars a year. Nobody can do that work properly for thirty. What we do is tell you who to go after and why, build the campaign with you, and make you better at the conversation once somebody answers.

Do you record our client calls?

No. Never. The coaching happens after the meeting, off your CRM notes and what you remember, which is usually more than people expect. Nothing gets recorded and nothing about your clients leaves your office.

What size firm is this built for?

Firms roughly between thirty and eighty-five million in assets. Below that the fee is a bigger share of revenue than we think it should be, and a succession conversation is often the more honest one. Above about a hundred million, custodians start assigning real people to you and some of what we do you already have.

What does Full Desk cost?

$2,500 a month, flat. Three months to start, then month to month. No revenue share, no equity stake and no percentage of any transaction.

How is this different from Launch?

Launch is for an advisor building a firm. Full Desk is for a firm that’s already built and has gone quiet. Full Desk goes deeper on the findings and adds the sales layer, which is the coaching, the written process and the target marketing work.

Who do we actually work with?

The same two people every month, for as long as you’re with us. No ticket queue and no rotating rep.

How do I get started?

Send us the firm name using the form above. We’ll put together a written review of it at no charge, and then you decide.
